21 year old aspiring DJ and CEO of UK urban online entertainment platform Style & Pattern Entertainment, Bryan Oppong a.k.a DJ YB provides a creative foundation for young aspiring musicians and artists looking to pursue a career in the industry, proving that your post code will never determine how successful you can be, and that only you have the power to determine your fate.

Raised in Camden Town and having been exposed to street gang and knife crime culture, DJ YB acknowledged the importance of targeting the younger generation, triggering inner inspiration to create a conscious movement to assist the ambitious youth of London who dream of achieving more than what they are daily revealed to in the environment they have been raised in.

DJ YB admittedly looks up to particular industry figures of inspiration that helped provide the necessary motivation towards initiating Style & Pattern, which include the likes of Tim Westwood and Posty of GRM Daily, taking influence from their work and applying it in a personal way. Being an 'all round entertainment' campaign, the North West Londoner admits to enjoying the excitement that Style & Pattern provides for artists, confessing he's proud to have the ability to provide the light in the lives of young creatives who once doubted their potential, stating, and i quote: 'the only way we can change things is if we change ourselves'.

Having worked with Style & Pattern myself, as an aspiring singer/writer, I can admit that the experience and services were of wicked and legit quality considering the fresh and upcoming nature of the movement and the people affiliated with it. The provision of advice and promotion of talent throughout the freestyling and recording sessions is refreshing and clever, overall being a genuinely whole-hearted operation for the younger generation - proving the impact of power that can be obtained through the helping hands of the youth.
